Today, Mrs. Phelps and Mrs. Fleener's class took part in a live zoom memorial of those individuals who lost their lives defending Flight 93. During the 9/11 attacks, these brave individuals chose to defend freedom against global terrorism.
We then took a virtual tour of the Tower of Voices, the Tower of Voices is a 93 foot statue made up of 40 individually pitched chimes that make sounds when the wind blows through them. They represent the voice of those individuals on the plane. The pitches are dissonant and harmonious, just like the voices of this brave individuals.
We, along with 20,000 other students nation wide, said the pledge and took a moment of silence for those nearly 3000 people who lost their lives.
