Attendance is important! Thank you to the Local Community Grants Team & Walmart Distribution Center #6069 for donating $500 and prizes for students with 95% or higher attendance. SHS celebrated these students with an attendance assembly of prizes and games.

The yearbook staff practiced their communication skills with a team-building activity. Groups were given a paperclip. They had 30 minutes and a maximum of five tries to trade their paperclip with a staff member for another item. The groups with the best items won. 1st Place: Allison Merritt, Ariel Oman, and Kylie Stephens with a key to a TESLA; 2nd Place: Landon Stobbs and Lindsey White with a signed Ozzie Smith Cardinal's helmet; 3rd Place: Makiyah Mullins and Jacob Koontz with a set of concert band tubular chimes
