Emma Schlag beat the SCA track meet record in Pole Vault yesterday with a jump of 7’10. Previously held by Savannah Hanning of Salem.
Salem 8th Grade Girls won 1st place with 152 points. Salem 8th Grade Boys won 1st place with 162 points. Salem 7th Grade Girls finished 2nd place with 110 points. Salem 7th Grade Boys won 1st place with 147 points.
We’re so proud of this group of young men and women. They’ve worked so hard this track season and they have put in so much time and effort this year. Congratulations to all of our athletes.

The Middle School Quiz Bowl students represented Salem R-80 very well at the Dent County Quiz Bowl Tournament held at Northwood School on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
There were two teams composed of Bonnie Gilmore, Katelyn Letchworth, Kelsey Lansing, Kaden Terrill, Leo Hood, Alex Woodward, Aubrey Widner, and Timber Goodson. Coaches were Dustin Bell and Hazel Krewson(not pictured)
The two teams took 1st and 3rd places out of 5 teams.
